(L.A.) Nicholas Mendia, 25, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 25-year-old “Hispanic/Black” male that occurred at a residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Nicholas Mendia.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl Toxicity

RIP NICHOLAS MENDIA (October 15, 1997 – June 27, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 10:45 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on September 30, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drug.
