Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 25-year-old Latino male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office identified the young man as Nery Yovani Miranda Abrego.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death A: Disseminated Candidiasis

Cause of Death B: Human Immunodeficiency Syndrome

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday.

Human immunodeficiency virus is HIV, the virus that causes acquired immunodeficiency syndrome, commonly known as AIDS.

The decedent was from Guatemala. His name has also been spelled as Nery Yobany Miranda Abrego.
