Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 55-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Neil Young.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Laennec Cirrhosis

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday.

Laënnec cirrhosis is primarily caused by excessive and chronic alcohol consumption.

The government investigator had initially given the decedent’s name as Neil Young II.
