(L.A.) Navnit Chandar, 42, Died in an Alley

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 42-year-old male that occurred in an alley.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Navnit Chandar.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Multiple Blunt-Force Injuries

RIP NAVNIT CHANDAR (April 2, 1982 – August 16, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 7:21 a.m.

The decedent’s name appears to be South Asian / Desi, but for some unknown reason, the government investigator put down his race/ethnicity as Native Hawaiian/Other Pacific Islander.

He had an extensive rap sheet, including an arrest for battery as recently as August 10.
