(L.A.) Nathaniel Brown, 19, Died on the 10 Freeway

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 19-year-old Black male that occurred on the Santa Monica Freeway.

The coroner’s office identified the young man as Nathaniel Brown.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Blunt-Force Trauma

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday morning.

The decedent was in a multi-vehicle collision on the eastbound Santa Monica (10) Freeway in Mid-City LA.

California Highway Patrol said it happened at around 1:56 a.m. in the eastbound lanes of the I-10 Freeway near the South La Brea Avenue exit.
