Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 56-year-old White/Caucasian female that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Nancy Ortiz.

Born in L.A. County. Mother’s maiden name is Watkins.

Manner of Death: Suicide

Cause of Death: Sequelae of Acute Mixed Drug Intoxication, including Acetaminophen

Other Significant Condition: Alcohol Use Disorder

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 7:41 p.m.

The government investigator had initially given the decedent’s name as Nancy Lyle, which apparently is her birth name.
