(L.A.) Nancy Bailey, 70, Died From a Heart Issue

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 70-year-old Black female that occurred at her residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Nancy Bailey.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death A: Myocardial Ischemia

Cause of Death B: Atherosclerotic and Hypertensive Cardiovascular Disease

Other Significant Conditions: Morbid Obesity and Medical History of Congestive Heart Failure, Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus, Hypercholesterolemia, Hypertension, Pulmonary and Hypertension

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 12:50 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on September 8, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back negative for substances.

Myocardial ischemia is a serious cardiovascular condition characterized by reduced blood flow to the heart muscle, resulting in inadequate oxygen supply.

This is basically akin to a heart attack.
