(L.A.) Nahun Viera Cortes Jr., 23, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 23-year-old Latino male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the young man as Nahun Viera Cortes Jr.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Multiple Sharp and Blunt Force Injuries

RIP NAHUN VIERA CORTES JR. (August 22, 2000 – March 26, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 12:00 a.m.

LAPD Officers from Olympic Division HAD responded at around 11:55 p.m. Monday to an assault with a deadly weapon at 516 Normandie Avenue.

The decedent appears to have been stabbed to death.
