Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 40-year-old Hispanic female that occurred at her residence.
The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Monica Lujan.

Cause of Death A: Staphylococcus aureus Infection
Cause of Death B: Influenza A H1 2009 Infection

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 5:34 a.m.
Influenza A (H1N1) 2009 is commonly known as swine flu.
Evidence of concurrent bacterial infection, including S. aureus, was found in 29% of fatal cases of 2009 pandemic influenza A (H1N1) examined by the CDC.
