(L.A.) Mohammad Mahani, 39, Died at an Airport

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 39-year-old male that occurred at an airport.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Mohammad Mahani and listed his race/ethnicity as Middle Eastern [sic].

Manner of Death: Suicide

Cause of Death: Blunt-Force Traumatic Injuries

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 2:45 p.m.

The decedent’s name appears to be Persian/Iranian.

We have been informed by a reader that the family is currently disputing the manner of death. The government, however, has concluded its investigation.
