Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 30-year-old Hispanic male that occurred on a sidewalk.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Misael Ramirez.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl and Methamphetamine

RIP MISAEL RAMIREZ (June 24, 1992 – November 8, 2022)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 9:40 p.m.

This is a rare case of a homicide in which illicit drugs are the cause of death. The investigator was Lianna Darabedya, the deputy medical examiner Dr. Brice Hunt.
