RIP MIGUEL SOLORIO (January 24, 1959 – January 6, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 1:16 p.m.

The decedent was a longtime employee of Hylands, working in a warehouse where homeopathic products were loaded, unloaded, managed and shipped.

This death was spotlighted in November 2023 after it was revealed that the coroner-investigator assigned to this case — Adrian Muñoz — had been thieving from corpses.

A security camera at the Hylands warehouse caught Muñoz removing a necklace from Solorio’s body, placing it in a glove and then slipping it into his medical bag. The footage also showed Muñoz taking cash from the front pocket of the man’s pants and, again, slipping it into a glove in his medical bag.
