Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 60-year-old Latino male that occurred at a warehouse.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Miguel Damas.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death A: Pulmonary Asphyxia

Cause of Death B: Aspiration of Gastric Contents

Cause of Death C: Acute Incapacitation

Cause of Death D: Hypertensive and Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

RIP MIGUEL ANGEL DAMAS (September 29, 1965 – March 18, 2026)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday.

The decedent basically had either a heart attack or cardiac arrest, which incapacitated him and led to aspiration of his stomach contents, which then caused him to be unable to breathe.
