(L.A.) Michael Tully, 67, Died From Meth

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 67-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Michael Tully.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Combined Effects of Methamphetamine and Ethanol

Other Significant Conditions: Cardiomyopathy; Medical History of Human Immunodeficiency Virus Infection, Diabetes Mellitus, Alcoholism, and Illicit Polysubstance Abuse

RIP MICHAEL TULLY (June 2, 1956 – December 1, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 2:56 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on May 8, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive from the lab.

This is considered an accidental drug overdose.

Human immunodeficiency virus is HIV, the virus that causes acquired immunodeficiency syndrome, commonly known as AIDS.
