Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 44-year-old Black male that occurred in a hotel/motel.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Michael Jenkins.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl and Methamphetamine

RIP MICHAEL JENKINS (December 27, 1978 – February 26, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 12:27 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on September 5, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs.
