Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 63-year-old Black male.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Michael Gilliam.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death A: Ischemic Heart Disease

Cause of Death B: Atherosclerotic Coronary Artery Disease

Other Significant Conditions: Medical History of Diabetes Mellitus, Hypertension, Chronic Smoking

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 8:54 a.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling in early September, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back negative for substances.
