(L.A.) Menashe Hidra, 53, Died in Valley Village

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 53-year-old male that occurred at his apartment residence.
The coroner’s office identified the man as Menashe Hidra.
Manner of Death: Homicide
Cause of Death: Multiple Traumatic Injuries
RIP MENASHE “MANNY” HIDRA (February 6, 1972 – April 26, 2025)
Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 4:07 p.m.
The decedent was found lifeless on the floor of his apartment during a welfare check at the Ashton Sherman Village Apartments on the 12600 block of Riverside Drive in the Valley Village neighborhood.
He was apparently a citizen of Israel.

LAPD’s Operation Valley Bureau homicide detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in locating the suspect responsible for the homicide of a male.
On April 26, 2025, around 2:30 p.m., Van Nuys division patrol officers responded to a radio call of a welfare check in the 12600 block of Riverside Drive. Upon arrival, officers located a male victim inside his apartment deceased.
UPDATE: A 27-year-old man named Erick Escamilla was arrested for this crime.
