Myeloproliferative neoplasm is a type of blood disorder where the bone marrow produces too many blood cells. This can lead to an overproduction of red blood cells, white blood cells, or platelets.

Essential thrombocythaemia (ET) is a rare blood cancer. In ET, too many platelets are made in the bone marrow, which can cause problems with blood clotting.
