(L.A.) McFelix Agbo, 20, Died at the Moxy Hotel

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 20-year-old Black male that occurred at the Moxy Hotel in DTLA.
The coroner’s office identified the young man as Mcfelix Agbo.
Manner of Death : Suicide
Cause of Death : Multiple Blunt-Force Traumatic Injuries
UPDATE: On February 3, the Department of Medical Examiner withdrew their initial conclusion that this was a suicide. The case is now deferred pending further investigation, including the results of drug tests.
UPDATE: On April 5, the DME finally concluded this was in fact a suicide.

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday night.
The government investigator had initially given the decedent’s name as Agbo Ugochukwu.
Hotel Moxy in downtown L.A. is located at 1260 South Figueroa Street, Los Angeles 90015.
The decedent jumped from the building’s 36th floor at around 11:15 p.m. He apparently believed he was divine and invincible.
