Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 48-year-old Latino male that occurred in a parking lot.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Max Tapia.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death A: Acute Cardiac Dysfunction

Cause of Death B: Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

Other Significant Condition: Chronic Alcoholism

RIP MAX TAPIA (September 30, 1976 – October 28, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 6:16 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on January 14.
