(L.A.) Matthew Shaffer, 28, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 28-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred in a hospital.
The coroner’s office has identified the man as Matthew Shaffer.
Manner of Death: Accident
Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl, Methamphetamine and Ethanol
Other Significant Condition: Acute Pneumonia
RIP MATTHEW SHAFFER (September 9, 1995 – January 24, 2024)
Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 10:35 p.m.
The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on April 2, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drugs.
