Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 46-year-old Caucasian male that occurred on a sidewalk.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Matthew Kleinmeier.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl and Methamphetamine Toxicity

RIP MATTHEW KLEINMEIER (October 3, 1976 – April 24, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 2:00 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in late September, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs.
