(L.A.) Mary Contreras, 51, Died From a Meth OD

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 51-year-old Hispanic female that occurred at her residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Mary Contreras.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Methamphetamine Toxicity

RIP MARY CONTRERAS (July 15, 1973 – December 4, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 2:47 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in mid-March, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
