(L.A.) Marvin Jimenez, 15, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 15-year-old Hispanic male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the teen as Marvin Jimenez.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl Intoxication

RIP MARVIN JIMENEZ (June 20, 2007 – April 8, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 11:54 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in July, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
