Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 53-year-old Black male that occurred in a park.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Marvell Townsend.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Sequelae of Diabetes Mellitus

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 1:39 a.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on August 13.
