(L.A.) Martin Okeke, 44, Died on a Street

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 44-year-old Black male that occurred on a street in Malibu.
The coroner’s office has identified the man as Martin Okeke.
Manner of Death: Accident
Cause of Death: Multiple Traumatic Injuries

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 11:03 p.m.
The decedent was a rideshare driver who was fatally injured in a head-on collision on the Pacific Coast Highway. He was driving a black 2020 Cadillac Escalade, which was frontally hit by a white 2019 Mercedes Benz traveling eastbound. The Mercedes, driven by Summer Wheaton, was at fault. Wheaton was a guest at a Nobu party that did not have a permit from Malibu authorities.
