(L.A.) Martin Enciso Jr., 32, Died on the 5 Freeway

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 32-year-old Latino male that occurred on the 5 Freeway in Arleta.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Martin Enciso Jr.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Blunt-Force Injuries

RIP MARTIN ENCISO JR. (August 23, 1993 – June 7, 2026)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday night.

The decedent was apparently running on the southbound side of the freeway when he was hit by a vehicle. He was thrown onto the northbound lanes by the force of the impact.
