(L.A.) Mark Mutch, 64, Died From Natural Causes

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 64-year-old Black male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Mark Mutch.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Arteriosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

RIP MARK MUTCH (June 20, 1960 – August 20, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 11:20 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in December, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back negative for substances.

This was either a heart attack (myocardial infarction) or cardiac arrest.

Unrelated to the decedent, Mark Lawrence Mutch was an Australian national who was convicted of pedophilia in Fiji in 1997. The offenses were committed at his house against five young girls aged from 9 to 15 at different times over a period from 1990 to 1997. He was given a sentence of seven years.
