(L.A.) Mark Cruz, 54, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 54-year-old Latino male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Mark Cruz.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death A: Acute Cardiac Dysfunction

Cause of Death B: Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

RIP MARK CRUZ (November 30, 1970 – March 21, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 5:07 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on June 18, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back negative for substances.
