(L.A.) Mario Polendo, 61, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 61-year-old Caucasian male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Mario Polendo.

Born in L.A. County. Mother’s maiden name is Wright.

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl, Codeine, Morphine, and Methadone

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 3:26 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on August 16, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
