Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 53-year-old Latino male that occurred on a street in North Hollywood.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Mario Palacios Membreno.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Shotgun Wound of Chest

RIP MARIO PALACIOS MEMBRENO (September 6, 1969 – August 25, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 3:37 p.m.

The decedent was a victim of a targeted drive-by shooting in the 6100 block of Carpenter Avenue. He was across the street from his home.
