(L.A.) Mario Baez, 61, Died in Newhall

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 61-year-old Latino male that occurred in a car.
The coroner’s office identified the man as Mario Baez of San Fernando.

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday morning.
The decedent was in a two-vehicle traffic collision at the intersection of Newhall Avenue and Sierra Highway.
At around 6:50 a.m., a Los Angeles County Public Works truck collided with a vehicle exiting the Polynesian Mobile Home Park. The car’s two occupants were fatally injured and passed away on the spot.
