Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 64-year-old Black female that occurred at her residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Marilyn Purry.

Cause of Death: Combined Effects of Cocaine and Fentanyl

RIP MARILYN PURRY (April 19, 1959 – March 28, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 2:18 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on April 26, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drugs.
