(L.A.) Maria Alarcon Vazquez, 76, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 76-year-old female that occurred at her residence in Hollywood.

The coroner’s office identified the woman as Maria Alarcon Vazquez.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Inhalation of Products of Combustion and Thermal Injuries

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday morning.

LAFD reported two fatalities from a structure fire at 1760 N Vista Del Mar Avenue that happened at around 2:55 a.m.

Maria de Consuelo Alarcon died on scene. Her 83-year-old sister Yolanda Honda was taken to the hospital where she passed away on February 8, Sunday.
