(L.A.) Mareyo Eaton, 45, Died on a Train

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 45-year-old Black male that occurred on a train.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Mareyo Eaton.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl, Cocaine, and Ethanol

RIP MAREYO EATON (December 25, 1977 – May 25, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 9:24 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on July 18, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, substance overdose.
