(L.A.) Marcela Hardy Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a female that occurred in a hospital.
The coroner’s office identified the individual as Marcela Hardy and listed her race/ethnicity as Black + Hispanic.
Manner of Death: Accident
Cause of Death: Intrauterine Fetal Demise

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 6:59 p.m.
It was on March 6 that the government investigator provided the decedent’s forename+surname as Marcela Cruz Hardy. By March 15, this had been changed to simply Marcela Hardy.
Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on May 21. Intrauterine fetal demise is the medical term for a stillbirth. This death is considered an accidental drug overdose.
She was a twin of Mercedes. The two babies were born dead due to mother’s drug abuse.
