Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 50-year-old male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Marc Weingarten and listed his race/ethnicity as Latino [sic].

Born in L.A. County. Mother’s maiden name is Simms.

Cause of Death: Fentanyl Toxicity

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 3:18 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in June the following year, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drugs.
