Twitter Outreach: Manny Pacquiao Invites Conor McGregor to the Philippines
Mixed martial artist Conor McGregor posted on Twitter a greeting to his fan @seamybumble who had tweeted @theNotoriousMMA a photo of his pre-wedding libations in the Philippines.
This is very, very cool!

Members of the bachelor’s party were all wearing barong, a distinctive formal garment worn by men in the Philippines. They were seated at a table sharing a bottle of McGregor’s Proper Twelve whiskey.

No word on whether a boxing match between McGregor and Pacquiao is still possible. It was rumored that in April 2017, the Filipino boxing legend reached out to the Irishman for a potential fight.

Pacquiao just recently acquired the 2.5-million follower Twitter account from Top Rank Boxing, which had it for a few years under the @MannyPacquiaoTR handle. Prior to 2016, that @MannyPacquiaoTR account was actually grown to over 1 million as @MannyPacquiao while the Philippine boxer kept a much smaller, personal account. The senator asked for the large account in 2016, to which Top Rank balked — Twitter did award the @MannyPacquiao username to the senator’s personal account in 2016. That smaller and newer account with about 300,000 followers has been renamed @MPac_Foundation.
