Man Sent Home With Tooth Infection Dies Alone After Collapsing In Kitchen

Bradley Tuczek was given antibiotics and painkillers by a dentist in Sydney, Australia, on July 14.

The 33-year-old, originally from Perth, spoke over the phone with his family on July 16 and mentioned how severe his pain was and that he had an appointment to have the tooth taken out the following week.

His body was found on July 18 by colleagues who were concerned he hadn’t shown up to work. Based on the location and stage of decomposition, authorities surmise Tuczek must’ve collapsed in his kitchen and died on July 16 a few hours after speaking with his family.

A post-mortem examination will take place to determine the cause of death. His family and the police say there is no evidence of foul play or of an overdose.
