(L.A.) Luis Ramirez, 35, Died in an Alley

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 35-year-old male that occurred in an alley.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Luis Ramirez.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl and Methamphetamine Effects

RIP LUIS RAMIREZ (February 23, 1989 – July 23, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 7:56 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on November 1, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
