(L.A.) Luigi Camperchioli, 56, Ended His Life

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 56-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred at his residence.
The coroner’s office identified the man as Luigi Camperchioli.
Manner of Death: Suicide
Cause of Death: Hanging
RIP LUIGI B CAMPERCHIOLI (March 1969 – February 23, 2026)
Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday.
The decedent was the husband of actor Robert Machray who died on January 12 from complications of dementia and two strokes. Machray was 79 years old. The couple lived together in Valley Village in the North Hollywood area.
Synchrony Bank filed a debt collection lawsuit against Camp on February 17, in Los Angeles County Superior Courts.
“Luigi Camperchioli left the Blenio Valley and Ticino in Switzerland around 26 years ago. After working in Switzerland for a few years, he trained as a graphic designer and then left to ‘study English.’ He enjoyed it so much that he stayed: 4 years in New York, 22 years in Los Angeles—the city without seasons.
