Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 44-year-old Asian female that occurred at her residence.

The coroner’s office identified the woman as Lisa Chong.

Manner of Death: Suicide

Cause of Death: Multiple Sharp-Force Injuries

RIP LISA ILLA-CHONG (October 28, 1980 – March 15, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 8:18 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on May 6.
