Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 67-year-old Black male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Lawrence Maxwell.

Cause of Death: Acute and Chronic Alcohol Use Disorder

Other Significant Condition: Arteriosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 11:47 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on February 9.
