(L.A.) Laurie Gunderson, 63, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 63-year-old White/Caucasian female that occurred at her residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Laurie Gunderson.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Methamphetamine Toxicity

RIP LAURIE GUNDERSON (July 8, 1961 – February 6, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 9:05 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on May 9, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab. This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
