Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 40-year-old Black female that occurred at her residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Lagerri McClain.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Methamphetamine Toxicity

RIP LAGERRI MCCLAIN (December 11, 1984 – April 4, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 10:45 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on May 27.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
