Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 68-year-old Black male that occurred in transitional housing.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Kim Portis.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death A: Congestive Heart Failure

Cause of Death B: Hypertensive Cardiovascular Disease

Other Significant Conditions: Chronic Kidney Disease, History of Deep Vein Thrombosis; Anemia; Epilepsy
