Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 40-year-old Black female that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Keyona Johnson.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Community-Acquired Acute Bronchopneumonia

Other Significant Conditions: History of Non-Specific Congestive Heart Failure; Idiopathic Liver Cirrhosis

RIP KEYONA JOHNSON (January 31, 1985 – March 2, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 1:09 a.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on April 29.
