Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 45-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred in a hospital.
The coroner’s office has identified the man as Kevin Turen.
Manner of Death: Natural
Cause of Death A: Acute Cardiac Dysfunction
Cause of Death B: Hypertrophic Heart Disease
Other Significant Condition: Coronary Artery Atherosclerosis

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 12:47 p.m.
The decedent was a producer on HBO’s Euphoria and The Idol who passed away after suffering a medical emergency while driving.
According to TMZ, Turren was behind the wheel of his Tesla when his health suddenly took a turn for the worse, prompting his 10-year-old son to act fast and steer them to safety.
The terrifying ordeal took place on the freeway as they were driving home from a tennis tournament. The car was on autopilot mode at the time of the incident.
The decedent’s father told TMZ that drugs and alcohol played no role in causing the situation.
