(L.A.) Kevin Reyes, 36, Died From a Meth Overdose

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 36-year-old Latino male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Kevin Reyes.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Methamphetamine

Other Significant Condition: History of Hypertension and Schizophrenia

RIP KEVIN REYES (May 18, 1988 – June 23, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 4:41 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on September 11, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drug.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, overdose.
