The coroner’s office identified the man as Kenneth San Nicolas. Born in L.A. County.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Methamphetamine

Other Significant Condition: Congestive Heart Failure

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 6:22 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in mid-December, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
